What is the role of the “Global Irish” on policy making in Ireland and the US? Topics include “Home to Vote” efforts for both the marriage and abortion referendums, Brexit discussions in Ireland and the US, and appointment of a Special Envoy by the US government.

Senator Jerry Buttimer - Jerry Buttimer is a member of the Irish Senate hailing from Cork- he was one of the most outspoken leaders for marriage equality in Ireland and is well versed on politics and policy making in both the US and Ireland.
Patrick Murphy- Patrick is a former member of the US House of Representatives, Acting Secretary of the Army, and a veteran of the War in Iraq. Currently an entrepreneur in the ed-tech space.
